Ananda Landscapes To Lecture About Landscaping At University Of Calgary
Ron Jones asked to speak about landscape design as part of 12-week university course

May 4, 2012 (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) – Ananda Landscapes President Ron Jones announced today that he will be lecturing to students at the University of Calgary on landscape design and development.

The presentation given is one based on similar lectures given in the past at both the University of Calgary and the Calgary Horticultural Society, with special attention paid to the whole development behind landscape design, from the very beginning to a completed project. The presentation is for students who have signed up for the 12-week landscaping course being offered at the University this spring.

“I want to inspire students to create anything from nothing,” commented Jones. “We first talk about form, function and flow, before moving forward to choosing styles textures and materials. We may also explore adding heat sources, water features and night lighting.”

Jones is excited to speak to the students and share with them some of his philosophies and practices that have allowed Ananda to find continued success even after being in business for over 30 years.

“I like to share with students how Ananda Landscapes remains both present to the needs and wants of the clients while still creating many lifestyle opportunities that were not previously thought possible. Allowing someone a new view on landscaping and the opportunities it can bring is one of my great passions in life and I am happy to do so at the University of Calgary,” concluded Jones.
