Ananda Landscapes Welcomes New Journeyman Landscape Gardener to the Company
Joo Hee Won accepts new position to carry forth Ananda’s client designs for a spectacular retreat in each backyard

April 21, 2011 (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) – Ron Jones, President of Ananda Landscapes, announced today that the company has hired Joo Hee Won as their new journeyman landscape gardener who will handle all materials for client designs including the development and maintenance of Ananda’s outdoor living projects.

Holding a Bachelor Degree in Landscape Architect, Won carries an impressive academic and career background with him. Previously running his own business for residential and commercial landscaping needs in Korea, and with more than 15 years of experience working as a journeyman landscape gardener, Won has worked with set-up installation of underground sprinkler systems, garden and sitting walls, decks, patios, driveways, waterfalls, fountains and fencing—leaving legacies of creations worldwide including in South Korea, New Jersey, Toronto and Calgary.

“Joo acknowledges client requests and brings them to fruition from start to end in the allotted time,” said Jones. “He brings with him extensive stone, wood working and plant knowledge, as well as the understanding for the different soil dynamics in and around Calgary. This allows him to understand and teach the selections of plants and greenery to all he works with at Ananda Landscapes.”

Jones concluded by saying that Won’s passion and creativity shows through his work and creations with everything he does, making him a great addition to Ananda’s landscaping team.
